Here’s a cover I made on Daniel Lanois’ song “Sometimes”, on the Yamaha CP-80 electric grand piano:
I’ve recently been working as mixing-engineer and co-producer on the new album “QuantumX” by Swedish symphonic metal-band Celestial Decay, and as the album is pretty much done a teaser-video has been released on YouTube, with a cover of a pretty well-known old classic; Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart”. I’m really satisfied with the results and the album will be released on The Music Alliance later this year. I think we are all really excited for the release.
If you watch until the end there is also a medley of the other songs from the album.

The Beatles has been a big part of my life for many years. I just love their sound, and the songs are fantastic. One day a while ago it just hit me, like a lightning bolt, how I probably would have produced “Lucy in the sky with diamonds” if I had written it. The sounds were all clear in my head, and this is what ended up in my recordings a few weeks later. Needless to say, I’m not trying to improve the song in anyway. The original Lucy in the sky with diamonds is a wonderful production, and this is just another interpretation.
I got some help by Robin Carlheim-Müller on the vocals and percussion, and Rickard Åsén on the drums. A big thank’s to you guys!
